SANDEEP NEWALKAR - Swimming Coach
Sandeep Newalkar, is one of the longest serving team members here at PTKS. His many certifications including Coaches clinic programme associated by the GMAAA (Greater Mumbai Aquatic Amateur Association), fitness management courses from K1 and ASCA level 1, 2 and 3 courses have given him a unique edge in his training.
His personal tact for training helped him develop innovative regimes like, Floor workout, Swiss ball training, Power yoga with Weight training and also Aqua aerobics. This resulted in stellar success for quite a few of his students making them the most successful Swimming Team in Mumbai.
At present the he is in charge of the swimming pool at PTKS - Prabodhankar Thakrey Kreeda Sankul.


NEELAM BABARDESAI - IT Professional, Gymnastics Coach
A true multi tasker, Neelam Babardesai, is a National Level Gymnast, a gymnastics coach, and is a Graduate in Computers Science. She has been a part of Technical Committee and currently is Chairperson of Brihan Mumbai Gymnastics Association. Her passion and love for Gymnastic sport gave her the energy and grit to start the Gymnastics unit way back in 2000 and sustain coaching along with managing a successful IT career. After 12 years in IT, she decided to follow her heart and switched to a career in Sports and Physical Education. She and her team of 12 coaches manage a truly professional Gymnastics center, which not only develops highly competitive gymnasts but also grooms athletes for multiple sports by building a strong physical and mental foundation for every child who is part of her unit.


HARISH PARAB - Gymnastics Coach (FIG Level -1)
Harish Parab, a gymnastics coach for the last 25 years, is also the Joint Secretary at Brihanmumbai District Gymnastics Association and Gen Secretary at Andheri Taluka Gymnastics Association. His many achievements include his representation as state coach for Maharashtra Gymnastic Association from 2007 until today and his receipt of a prestigious award from Maharashtra CM, Mr. Prithviraj Chauhan for coaching Maharashtra's team which got their first Gold Medal in the history of gymnastics performance under Harish's guidance. Two of his star students were selected in the Indian Commonwealth contingent for gymnastics and two others were Shiv Chattrapati Award winners for Mallakhamb. A true team player, he's the back bone for us here at Paramita.


SNEHAL PAPALKAR - Rifle Shooting Coach
Snehal is a NRAI a certified trainer for 10 m. air rifle and air pistol shooting. And ISSF Rifle Coach 'D' (International Shooting Sports Federation) from Japan. Academically she has a Bachelors degree in Physical training and she is holding master degree in Arts. But her true passion lies here in shooting. She played selection trials for World Cup, Common Wealth Games and Indian Team. She has the unparalleled knowledge about the rules and regulation, procedure and different events in shooting games and has successfully trained more than a 1000 students in Basic training. Her Students always holds top positions in various prestigious competitions like School Nationals, Nationals and this year her 2 students qualified for Selection trials for World Cup. She is the Head Coach and Range Incharge at PTKS shooting range.


TUSHAR GITAYE - Diving Coach
Tushar Gitaye, started his diving carrier at PTKS in 1998 when Dr. Ramesh Prabhoo honoured him by offering a membership at PTKS as a reward for becoming the national champion in Mallakhamb! His next target very quickly became diving. He represented India in the 8th Asian Championship in 2009 at China & secured 6th position in High board diving event. He represents The Western Railways & Indian Railways at professional diving meets, since 2006 and has been an unbelievable 5-time Sr. National Diving Champion in the High board diving event. He has secured 1st position at the 33rd National Games in 2007 & 2nd position at 35th National Games in 2015. His illustrious coaching journey began in 2008 and today his students are winning medals at State and National level meets.
